How to join a Sharpen Tutoring session on Zoom
Here are the 3 simple steps to get ready for a remote tutoring session
The Sharpen Reading works on desktop, laptop, and tablet devices, but the Learner will have the best experience on a touch-screen tablet or computer.
Prepare for the tutoring session
Go to the Sharpen Reading App (https://reading.sharpen.com) and wait for your tutor.
Don't log in just yet — we're just going here to prepare for the next step.
Join the tutor's Zoom meeting
- Join your tutor's Zoom meeting as per the instructions provided to you by your tutor.
- Share your screen displaying the Sharpen Reading app that you got ready in the previous step.
- Activate Annotating as part of the screen share to allow the Instructor to write / draw / highlight on the Learner’s screen.
Login to Sharpen Reading
Click on Learner Login
Log in with the username and password that your tutor provided you
You will see a screen like this. The Lesson will begin in a few moments once the instructor is ready.
