Start a Sharpen Reading lesson with your learner

Start a lesson with your learner in 3 steps:

1. Click the green "Start Lesson" button.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions with your learner's device.
3. Click "Let's Go!" to begin.

(If you're not logged in yet, log in with your parent/instructor Sharpen Account, choose your child's profile, and click "Reading Program" in the top green navigation bar.)

On your child's Reading dashboard, click the large green button that says "Start Lesson."

Sharpen Reading will show you a welcome screen with instructions for your learner to log in on his or her tablet or computer:

On the learner's device:

1. Visit reading.sharpen.com
2. Click "Learner Login"
3. Enter the learner's ID and passcode as displayed

Once your learner is logged in, you should see this screen on learner's device:

Click "Let's Go!" to begin

Back on your welcome screen, click the big green "Let's Go!" button to start the lesson on your device and your learner's device at once.
