Cancelling a Reading Program Subscription

If you no longer wish to continue with Sharpen Reading, you may deactivate individual learners or cancel your entire subscription at any time.

Deactivating a learner

Deactivating a learner ends your ability to use Sharpen Reading with that learner, but preserves your learner's data in case you'd like to restart in the future. You can also deactivate a learner when you have completed all Sharpen Reading lessons.

  1. Start by visiting your Account page.

  2. Scroll down to the section labeled "Subscriptions."
  3. To deactivate an individual learner, but leave other learners active in your account, click the "Deactivate learner" button next to the learner's name you'd like to deactivate:

  1. After deactivating, your next monthly or annual subscription payment will reflect the decreased number of total learners.

Cancelling your subscription

Cancelling your subscription deactivates all your learners and stops any future monthly or annual billing for Sharpen Reading.

  1. Start by visiting your Account page.

  2. Scroll down to the section labeled "Subscriptions."
  3. Click the red "Cancel Subscription" button.

  4. To help improve Sharpen Reading, we then ask you a one-click question to understand why you're cancelling.
  5. After cancelling, you will no longer be charged a monthly or annual subscription fee.
